Class 3 celebrated Roald Dahl’s 102nd Birthday this week.
Children brought in their Roald Dahl books and shared them with the class.
We then, in honour of Mr Dahl, wrote ‘silly sentences’. The aim was to be as silly as possible!
Here are some examples;
The bushy fat fox drove around in his half Toyota half Jeep whilst eating a poor cross pack of fries.
The wonky squashed jagged marvellous giraffe is eating 10 burnt sausages.
The ramshackle hoolabaloo penguin ate squashed flies in a sandwich.
The fat oozy pig lay in the mud.
The stupid dog who was driving the biggest plane in the world then stopped the penguin who was eating mouldy dog food.
I think you’ll agree, they are terribly silly. Mission accomplished 😉
