It has been a very busy few weeks at Forton school in the lead up to Christmas with productions, music concerts, meals and assemblies. Here are a selection of photographs from the last few weeks.
In Class 2 we love taking time to relax and read. We spend 15 minutes each day enjoying a good book!

Today Class 1 and 2 visited The United Reformed Church in Forton. We listened to some wonderful stories and got to hold lots of different fruits. What a great morning learning all about Harvest.
It has been a very exciting morning here at Forton. We got to meet our new school pets – two very beautiful guinea pigs. They are settling in nicely and love their new home. We will be naming them shortly
This week Class 2 have been busy completing lots of practical tasks in Maths. We have been measuring the length of lots of different objects using cubes and rulers. We have also been weighing different objects and recording our results.
Last week Class 2 went outside to learn about the different textures of objects. We talked about how the different objects felt and used pencils to take rubbings. Here are some pictures:
